With an IoT platform connecting more than 6 million units - and growing - Trackunit is building the platform that will enable the construction industry to work faster, smarter, and more securely. And we need you to help scale our platform.

As a Senior SRE, you’ll take on a highly autonomous role within our Europe-based SRE team, while collaborating closely with our global SRE organization across Europe and Canada. You’ll apply critical thinking and a strategic perspective to evolve our platform in support of the industry’s future needs. The platform owned by SRE includes multiple AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure defined through Terraform and Terramate, and a GitOps delivery platform powered by Argo CD and Atlantis.

We support engineering teams with 150+ developers. You will play an important role in the continuous development of our platform, strengthening security, and maintaining availability for a platform used by 15,000+ active users every day.

• Solid experience working with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and modern cloud-native stacks.

• You will participate in projects spanning multiple teams across Trackunit, where your knowledge and expertise will be used to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

• You will be part of our on-call rotation (for the SRE team during business hours).

• Virtual meet and greet. Meet with Engineering Manager, Kåre Brandborg and a SRE team member.

• Personality-based interview. You will be asked to complete an online personality assessment prior to the interview. There are no correct answers and we are not trying to categorise you—the aim is a dialogue about the results and Trackunit’s culture, so you get to know us better as well.

• Assignment-specific interview. You will be given a case to prepare after the initial screening interview. You will present the case to relevant colleagues across Trackunit, who you will also work closely with in the role.

• References and background checks (if needed). If required, we will obtain references from former employers and perform level-specific background checks, if you have not provided these yourself.
