Compliance & ESG Manager
We are looking for a Compliance & ESG Manager responsible for maintaining a comprehensive compliance framework covering, among others, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), antitrust/competition law, forced labor & human rights, and broader regulatory compliance. The role also leads the development and execution of the company’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy and supports compliance with data protection regulations, including the GDPR.
With locations in the hearts of Copenhagen, Kolding, Aarhus and Aalborg, we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Denmark. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Who are you ideally?
Degree in Law, Compliance, Business, ESG/Sustainability, or a related field.
3+ years experience in compliance, risk management, legal, ESG, or similar roles, preferably in a multinational or technology/SaaS environment.
Solid understanding of ABC, AML, antitrust, human rights due diligence, and GDPR, better if you have Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
Experience with ESG reporting frameworks or regulatory sustainability requirements (e.g., CSRD).
Proven ability to develop and maintain compliance programs.
Strong communication, training, and stakeholder-management skills.
High integrity and sound judgment.

Primary responsibilities:
1. Compliance Program Management
Develop, and maintain the company’s global compliance program, covering among others:
ABC (Anti-Bribery & Corruption)
AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
Antitrust & Competition Law
Forced Labor, Human Rights, Supply Chain Due Diligence
Sanctions & Export Controls
Monitor relevant regulatory developments and update policies, guidelines, and procedures accordingly.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert across compliance areas.
2. Training, Awareness & Culture Building
Develop and deliver training programs.
Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.
Prepare and distribute compliance communications and updates.
3. Investigations, Monitoring & Reporting
Conduct or support internal investigations into potential compliance concerns.
Implement monitoring and controls to detect and prevent misconduct.
Manage reporting mechanisms (e.g., whistleblowing channels) and ensure issues are appropriately escalated.
4. Third-Party & Supply Chain Compliance
Oversee due diligence processes for partners, suppliers, distributors, and contractors.
Implement controls to address modern slavery, forced labor, and ESG risk in the supply chain.
5. ESG Strategy & Reporting
Execute the company’s ESG roadmap, including environmental footprint, social impact, and governance initiatives.
Lead or support ESG reporting in alignment with relevant frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SBTi).
Coordinate cross-departmental ESG initiatives and track performance metrics.
Support sustainability-related customer and investor requests.
6. GDPR & Data Protection Compliance
Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) where necessary.
Advise internal stakeholders on lawful data processing, cross-border transfers, and security measures.
7. Governance & Policy Development
Draft and maintain compliance and ESG-related policies, codes of conduct, and procedures.
Establish governance frameworks for compliance escalation and decision-making.
Support board-level audits and compliance committees as required.

You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
