At Trackunit, we believe people are the foundation of our success. We’re now looking for a People Operations Specialist who’s passionate about turning systems, automation, and data into a meaningful global people experience. In this role, you’ll strengthen the operational backbone that enables our business and people to scale worldwide.
You’ll be the go-to specialist for our HRIS (HiBob) and people data, ensuring high-quality data, seamless workflows, and actionable insights for leaders across the organization. Working with a wide range of stakeholders in an international context, you’ll help us deliver scalable and impactful people solutions that connect our culture with our systems and analytics.
This is a key role for someone who thrives on building and optimizing systems, driving automation, and translating people data into insights that shape better decisions and experiences.
Our People Operations team is based in the heart of Aarhus, and we offer a flexible setup that allows you to combine time in the office with working from home. We also have a base in Aalborg, but expect you to spend regular time in Aarhus. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Who are you ideally?
A hands-on operations specialist with a passion for systems and data. You’ll sit right at the intersection of HR tech, analytics, and employee experience. Taking active ownership of our HRIS and people data, you’ll ensure data quality, drive automations, and deliver dashboards and insights that empower leaders to make smarter decisions. By enabling scalable and self-service solutions, you’ll help shape a smooth, reliable people experience across Trackunit.
We imagine you have a background and experience in some of the following areas:
- Experience owning and improving HRIS platforms (ideally HiBob) with a strong focus on automation and integration.
- A data-driven mindset with proven experience in creating dashboards, reports, and translating people data into actionable insights.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to systems, data governance, and process optimization.
- Comfort collaborating across People, Finance, Legal, and business functions to ensure smooth operations.
- Curiosity and drive to connect people practices with technology – scaling operations while keeping employee experience front and center.

- People Systems & Optimization: Drive the continued development and adoption of our HRIS (HiBob), enabling smarter and automated workflows, data quality, and an enhanced employee experience.
- People Data & Analytics: Build and deliver dashboards and reports that turn people data into actionable insights – supporting leaders and business decisions.
- Automation & Self-Service: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement self-service solutions that empower employees and leaders.
Supporting areas:
- Policy, Governance & Compliance: Ensure policies and processes are up to date, scalable, and compliant across multiple regions.
- Employment Contracts & Documentation: Draft and coordinate contracts, amendments, and global mobility documents in alignment with local labor laws.

- Virtual meet with members of the team and Chief People Officer.
- Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking 'appropriate' responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team.
- Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or projects related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues and the team from People & Talent, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
- If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers and do background checks for level specific, if you have not provided these yourself.
