We’re looking for a curious, solution-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our Core AI Team in the CTO Office, where we steer AI and data innovation across the company. With 2+ billion data points collected daily, you’ll have an enormous playground to build, experiment, and deploy advanced models that solve critical problems. Working alongside a team of experienced data professionals and software engineers, you’ll contribute to turning raw data into intelligent solutions that transform the construction industry.

Who are you ideally?

• You have a couple of years of experience in applying data science and analytics techniques to solve product or business problems.
• You have proficient programming skills in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• You have experience working with SQL, cloud platforms, and big data frameworks (Spark, etc.).
• With a blend of curiosity and creativity, you devise solutions that are applicable in real-life contexts.
• Experience with Generative AI is a plus.

Primary responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions for Trackunit’s platform and software products.
• Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics to solve real world business challenges for our customers.
• Work with large-scale datasets to generate insights and detect anomalies for fleet optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and integrate data solutions into our applications.

• Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking 'appropriate' responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team.
• Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete responsibilities related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you’ll also work closely with in the job.
